DESCRIPTION:The Bites “95” bass fishing tournament series has released its schedule and rules for 2024. The schedule is the last to come out every year so that the dates can be worked around all the other events up and down the river. Here are the details of the changes made to the Bites “95” format for 2024: \n\nThe Open Events will not be held for 2024 due to lack of participation. The sentiment from the anglers was that they did not want to fish other pools\, the purse was too small due to the amount of boats and the amount of other tournaments the anglers were involved in.\nTwo new events have been added: a Couples Male Female Event and a Singles Event. Both of these events may be used to qualify for the end year event. No membership fee is required for these two events.\nIt will no longer take 5 events to qualify for the end year event. That number of 5 has been reduced to 4 events.\nThe end year event is no longer called a “Championship”. The year-end event will be similar to the Super BFL in the fall. It will be a two-day event with a cut to the top 10 boats for day two. All the weights from day 1 will be erased and the top 10 boats will start at 0 for day 2. The top 3 boats of day 1 will have a payout. The rest of the purse will be transferred to day 2. $10 from each entry fee from earlier events will be held back for the year-end event tournament purse. DESCRIPTION:The Iowa Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) is hosting a spring two day bass tournament on the beautiful lake Okoboji in northwest Iowa. The tournament will take place on May 18 and 19\, 2024\, and will feature some of the best bass anglers in the state. The lake is known for its clear water and abundant largemouth bass\, which will be spawning during the tournament. This means that the fish will be aggressive and easy to locate\, making for an exciting and competitive event. The anglers will be aiming to catch the heaviest five-fish limit each day\, and the total weights could be record breaking. The winner of the tournament will receive a prizes and the title of State winner for B.A.S.S\, as well as bragging rights among the bass fishing community. \nB.A.S.S. is the original bass fishing series in the United States\, founded in 1968 by Ray Scott. B.A.S.S. organizes tournaments for both professional and amateur anglers\, as well as promoting conservation and education of the sport. B.A.S.S. tournaments are a gateway to the Bassmaster Classic\, the most prestigious and lucrative bass fishing championship in the world. The Bassmaster Classic is held annually and attracts millions of viewers and fans. To qualify for the Bassmaster Classic\, anglers have to compete in various B.A.S.S. circuits\, such as the Bassmaster Elite Series\, the Bassmaster Opens\, the Bassmaster College Series\, and the Bassmaster Nation. DESCRIPTION:NNPBS head into event number two for 2024! \nEasily the most fished Iowa based series in 2023\, this tournament series out paces all others in the state as it pertains to high boat counts\, a highly competitive angler base with no repeat winners to date and nice payouts for top teams. \nWith plenty of sponsors teams who almost make the money are often rewarded with gift packs\, gift cards or relevant baits donated by multiple companies. \nThe staff make every effort to get to know the 90 plus teams throughout the year and are genuinely grateful for your participation. \nIf you don’t qualify after fishing all five events you get one last change to make their Classic by fishing the Wildcard event.  This Wildcard event is a nice touch to reward dedication and effort from some excellent teams who just had some bad luck.  A nice touch that makes for an excellent two day Classic! \nIf you want to fish the Mississippi river\, you need to fish with this series and experience all the challenges the great Mississippi river has to offer.

DESCRIPTION:NNPBS head into event three of five for 2024!  The teams near the top better stay on it as the mid pack teams always make their push as summer starts to heat up the backwaters at Prairie du Chien\, Wisconsin.  Strategies shift as bass begin to move toward their long hot summer neighborhoods. \nThere’s no doubt the top water frogs will be flying high as temperatures follow suit.  Power fishing becomes a driving factor as weights start to tip the scales in one of the most competitive events for NNPBS. \nWith plenty of sponsors teams who almost make the money are often rewarded with gift packs\, gift cards or relevant baits donated by multiple companies. \nThe staff make every effort to get to know the 90 plus teams throughout the year and are genuinely grateful for your participation. \nIf you don’t qualify after fishing all five events you get one last change to make their Classic by fishing the Wildcard event.  This Wildcard event is a nice touch to reward dedication and effort from some excellent teams who just had some bad luck.  A nice touch that makes for an excellent two day Classic! \nIf you want to fish the Mississippi river\, you need to fish with this series and experience all the challenges the great Mississippi river has to offer.

DESCRIPTION:The Bites “95” bass fishing tournament series has released its schedule and rules for 2024. The schedule is the last to come out every year so that the dates can be worked around all the other events up and down the river. Here are the details of the changes made to the Bites “95” format for 2024: \n\nThe Open Events will not be held for 2024 due to lack of participation. The sentiment from the anglers was that they did not want to fish other pools\, the purse was too small due to the amount of boats and the amount of other tournaments the anglers were involved in.\nTwo new events have been added: a Couples Male Female Event and a Singles Event. Both of these events may be used to qualify for the end year event. No membership fee is required for these two events.\nIt will no longer take 5 events to qualify for the end year event. That number of 5 has been reduced to 4 events.\nThe end year event is no longer called a “Championship”. The year-end event will be similar to the Super BFL in the fall.
