The Benton Bass Anglers are thrilled to kick off their 2025 tournament season at the picturesque Lake Belva Deer in Sigourney, Iowa, on April 12th. Renowned for its abundant largemouth bass population, this 260-acre lake offers both novice and seasoned anglers an exhilarating fishing experience.
Why Lake Belva Deer?
Nestled within the expansive 1,673-acre Belva Deer Recreation Area, the lake boasts diverse habitats that promise exciting challenges and rewarding catches. From submerged structures to vegetated shorelines, anglers can employ various techniques to land impressive bass.
Tournament Details:
- Date: April 12, 2025
- Location: Lake Belva Deer, Sigourney, IA
- Launch Site: Main ramp on the west side of the lake
- Entry Fee: $100 per team (includes Big Bass pot)
- Registration Deadline: Fees must be submitted to Ken Linder by 6 PM on Wednesday, April 9th. Late entries incur a $10 fee and will be assigned later take-off positions.
