Cedar Valley Bassmasters, based in Waterloo and Cedar Falls, kick off 2023 at Village Creek in Lansing, Iowa. Bass fishing is fast and furious this time or year!
This series is affiliated with Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and represents the Cedar Valley area during the State Tournament.
The friendly, yet competitive group, has been around for a long time and frequent the banks of Pool 9 once or twice a year.
The pre-spawn is in full force as anglers search the edges and secondary points for largemouth bass preparing to move in. Smallmouth are likely on the spawn now, but only the seasoned anglers will target the bronze backed trophies.
Winter is finally over, it’s time to tournament bass fish once again!
