Eastern Iowa Bass Anglers – Lake Delhi

The opener for 2025 gets this youthful group of angler back on the water!

The Eastern Iowa Bassmasters is a non-profit youth fishing club based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, dedicated to promoting bass fishing among young anglers aged 10 through high school seniors. Established over a decade ago, the club emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, conservation, and community involvement.

As an official B.A.S.S. club and a youth division of the Iowa B.A.S.S. Nation, members have the opportunity to compete in state and national B.A.S.S. tournaments. The competitive season runs from April through October, featuring monthly tournaments. Additionally, the club holds monthly meetings focused on conservation efforts, community projects, and educational sessions on bass fishing techniques.

The club has a history of members advancing to national competitions and collegiate fishing teams. Support from sponsors allows the club to award trophies and prizes at each tournament and provide post-event lunches for participants. For the 2025 season, the club aims to expand its activities, including hosting pizza nights, offering more prizes, and increasing community engagement.
