Some have waited all year to fish this event at Green Valley Lake in Union county Iowa. This lake is known to produce some serious six plus pound bass over the years. Some say the big bass in Iowa will come from here in 2023, although Lake Okoboji might have something to say about that.
Because of high pressure and a possible ramp and parking lot rebuild, there is a 20 boat limit for this event.
August 19 will be watched closely as it could take more that 20 pounds to win this one!
