IPB Elite – Little River

Iowa Premier Bass Series start the 2023 tournament series on Little River in Southern Iowa. Little River is a top three gem lake on Bass-Cafe.com for good reason.
While slowly growing in popularity, Little River, near Leon, Iowa, is an excellent fishery. Largemouth bass populations continue to thrive as both the DNR and Iowa bass anglers take better care of their fish. In 2022 the weights recorded for Little River quietly stayed under the radar, again, providing excellent fishing for avid bass anglers.
Early spring bass angling in Iowa can be tough, but it is the best time to hook into a trophy! Mike Hay landed a 6.14 pound largemouth on June 25th of 2022, while fishing in the I-Bass series. Surely the big girls will be moving up in pre-spawn in April.
IPB Elite continue to put anglers on outstanding bodies of water while challenging even the best of anglers in Iowa. If you’ve never fished IPB Elite, you should try them out in 2023!

IPB Elite 2023 Official Schedule
Teams and subs are to be named by March 25, 2022. A minimum $500 deposit for new teams is preferred with a completed registration form to secure a roster spot. Deposits for previous elite teams is $250. Full payment of $1000 is due no later than March 25th.
A team will consist of 1 or 2 anglers and if desired paid for substitute(s). The fee for a substitute is $100 each.
IPB Elite series fish lakes and rivers. The lakes change year to year to keep the anglers striving to be the best fisherman, not the best on one particular body of water.
